The Ladies Auxiliary is a non-profit organization operating separate from many Veteran Organizations. However, together they thrive and flourish to provide many services to the communities they are in.

They originated during the First World War. These women help wounded Veterans returning home and where asked to provide supports for their families. As Veteran Organizations become established these women were a welcomed addition. They continued the tradition of volunteering to support needy ex-service personnel and to enrich the programs and activities of Veteran Organizations.

The Organization is coordinated at Branch level. Any woman who is eligible for membership in a Veteran’s Organization may choose to become a member of our Organization. For more information about become a member check our our Membership Hub.

Volunteering for the Ladies Auxiliary

I have volunteered for several years by working in kitchen, selling raffle tickets, and Celebration of Life events. Working with the other Ladies has always been so rewarding! We have a great deal of fun with lots of kicks and giggles. Everyone knows their job and open to learning new things. They value team work and it shows. Most importantly everyone is respected. As a volunteer I feel this is important and I feel appreciated.
